In Game 1 of the 2010 Arkansas Razorbacks season they defeated the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles 44-3. In my season prediction blog I predicted 56-9. Not to far off. Arkansas could have easily put up more points if the starters had stayed in the whole game. It does concern me that the backups weren't able to put any points on the board during the fourth quarter against a FCS opponent. With that said Ryan Mallett and his array of receivers looked great. Defensive was much improved. Anthony Leon played like a man possessed. Moving him to linebacker was a great move on the part of Coach Petrino.
In other SEC news the Ole Miss Rebels lost in a 2OT game to Jacksonville St. Yes a FCS school. What is so funny about this news is that the coach of Jacksonville St is former Razorback Head Coach Jack Crow. The same Jack Crow that lost his job because of an embarrassing loss to the Citidal in 1992. Arkansas fans are no doubt enjoying the agony the Rebels are feeling right especially Houston Dale Nutt.
