The WAC just got Whacked
The Western Athletic Conference (WAC) just lost two more teams. Earlier this year Boise State left to go to the Mountain West Conference. Its been made official that Nevada and Fresno State will be joining Boise State in the MWC starting in 2011. It seemed that all the expansion business was done for a while after a hectic spring/summer. The MWC is trying to become a BCS conference to get an automatic spot in a BCS bowl. All the best teams have now jumped ship from the WAC. The lone good team BYU is heavily rumored to be going independent now that the other teams left. If BYU does leave then consider the WAC whacked.
