Hogs finish off the Dawgs
Arkansas scored with just 15 seconds left to beat the Georgia Bulldogs 31-24. Arkansas dominated the game for about 3 quarters. With a 24-10 lead going into the fourth quarter most people had written off the Dawgs. The Hogs had several chances to put away Georgia but a lack of running game got the offense off the field quickly. The defense was well prepared and ready for this game. They just flat out ran out of gas in the fourth. Thankfully they found some reserves at the end of the game to give the offense the ball back with just 45 seconds left in the game. Ryan Mallett had a Heisman like drive to lead the hogs down the field in 30 seconds to score. DJ Williams was a key player on this drive. Greg Childs caught the game winning catch. This win sets up a showdown of unbeatens in Fayetteville next Saturday. Number 1 Alabama Crimson Tide vs 12 Arkansas Razorbacks. Hogs should move up to at least 11 with the loss of number 9 Iowa this evening. ESPN has already announced they will be doing the ever popular College GameDay show from the Smurf Turf in Boise rather than a top 10 SEC match-up. They Hogs need to win to show the National Media that they are for real and deserve more respect. Hogs need less 3 and outs so the defense can rest late in the game if they are to have a shot at beating the Tide.
