Tide Rolls Back to Beat the Razorbacks

Arkansas was in control of the game for three quarters. The stage was set for Ryan Mallett to become the Heisman trophy front runner. The Hogs were just one quarter away from being a top 5 team and being one more step closer to National Championship. One of the biggest stats of the game was 3. 3 interceptions by Ryan Mallet. Two of those came during the last minute. The Hogs started very hot by scoring in just two plays to take the lead. The defense gave up long td run by Ingram but didn't get down on themselves. Arkansas went on to get two field goals and one more touchdown to take a 20-7 lead. Late into the third quarter Alabama took the game over and didn't look back. Hogs can still hold their head high. 24-20 loss shows they can hang with any team in the country. Fans are no doubt upset but under no circumstances should the fans consider this season over. If the Hogs had to lose it is best to do it now while the season is still just getting started. If the Hogs were to run the rest of the table and finish 11-1 they could still have a shot at the National Championship depending on how teams finish of course. The Hogs still have a chance at getting a good BCS bowl. The thing that I come away with the most is the fact that the Arkansas Razorbacks can go up against any team in the country and have a chance to win.
