Hogs Declaw the Wildcats

The Razorbacks got a huge win tonight beating the Kentucky Wildcats in overtime 77-76. Rotnei Clarke led the way with 26 points. Marshawn Powell added 22. Brandon Knight led the Wildcats with 26. Coach John Pelphrey got his first win against his alma mater. The Hogs also got their first win over the Wildcats in 10 years. The Hogs and Coach Pelphrey put up a good fight especially seeing that there backs were against the wall. Pelphrey has been under the gun for a while now and his seat is red hot. Tonight's big win may cool it slightly but a loss this weekend at Auburn could heat it right back up and possible put it over the boiling point. It was great to see some passion from the team. Tonight's game proves that the Hogs need Powell to step up and help Clarke and the rest of the team out. If the Hogs play like they did tonight down the stretch the Hogs could put themselves on the brink of a NCAA Tournament spot.
